UPE is pleased to announce that your UPE Yuba Superior Court Negotiations Team reached a tentative agreement with the Court over a new 3-year contract. The contract provides for raises of 5% in 2024, 4% in 2025 and 4% in 2026 plus a $1000 bonus to be paid with your regular pay. The Court also agreed to the restoration of the 20 years plus vacation accrual rate level and the removal of limitations on use of sick leave for family. There were also agreements made to clean up language in the contract, update the contract based on new laws, and incorporate previously agreed to items.
UPE would like to meet with its members to discuss the new tentative agreement. A meeting will be held at the Court on December 14, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the 2nd floor conference room. The vote will take place the following week on a date to be announced.
