On September 15, UPE and DCFAS met again to discuss the new Workforce Information Services Ecosystem (WISE). The new system will streamline and automate time off requests and assist assessing availability Department-wide.
UPE had questions on how the new system will impact AMS and other program-specific processes. The Department shared that the new system will work with AMS and should not impact staff. The Department will have to get back to us on program-specific questions as to the intent of WISE’s use consistently throughout the Department.
The Department will begin the testing phase in various units in the upcoming weeks. Once the testing is complete, training and go-live will follow.
