On August 30, 2024, your UPE Court Professional Bargaining team continued bargaining with Sacramento Superior Court. The Court came with new movement on its monetary proposals but the parties are still not close on the issue. The two sides did reach tentative agreement on two proposals, including one which ensures regular updates to court-issued cell phones. In addition, UPE continues to work to improve our members' working conditions and work-life balance with the new contract. The parties are now scheduled to continue bargaining on September 16, 2024.
