Your UPE Court Office Technical Bargaining Team continued contract negotiations with Sacramento Superior Court on September 19, 2024. The Court made movement on some of the proposals that allowed the parties to reach agreement on four proposals today including the ability to use flex/make up time before and after work regardless of if there is a supervisor present, an increase in the Court’s contribution to Retiree Health Care for future retirees, and an increase from 4 to 5 floating holidays. These are all positive agreements for our members. Despite this progress, the sides remain divided over critical proposals such as salary. UPE and the Court will meet again on October 2, 2024.
